We know you’re busy. You’ve got work. You’ve got play. You’ve got a million commitments. But casting your vote is important. That’s why we want to give you every opportunity to get into the booth. Introducing Early Voting. Instead of having only one day to vote, now you can choose to vote on any one of several days.
Early voting centers will be open 10am to 8pm every day from Friday, October 22nd through Thursday, October 28th, 2010, except for Sunday, October 24th when early voting centers are closed. And all early voting centers are accessible for voters with disabilities. Early voting is convenient, accessible and on your schedule. The regular general election day is Tuesday November 2, 2010 7 AM – 8 PM.
Benefits of Early Voting
- Early voting gives you the flexibility to vote on your schedule. Having many voting days to choose from means you can work around your job and other commitments.
- By voting early, you can avoid the rush that commonly comes with Election Day.
How will I vote during the early voting?
Voting during early voting is the same as voting on election day. When you get to the early voting center, you will check in to vote and vote your ballot.
Like election day voting, you will vote on the touchscreen voting system. With a touchscreen voting system, you touch the screen to make, change, and review selections and cast a ballot.
Instructions will be available at the early voting centers. Election judges will also be available to answer your questions or provide assistance, if needed.
